How we work

Our working method

Tramvina is an independent editorial publication covering resort hotels and entertainment destinations across Spain and Portugal. We assess properties, publish scores, and explain the reasoning; we do not sell rooms, take commission on bookings, or accept payment for placement.

Independence is structural rather than declared. No property in this catalogue has paid to appear, none has been given sight of its review before publication, and none can have a criticism removed.

Before you write

The questions we get most

Can I rely on the rates listed?

The figures shown are entry-level guides captured when we assessed the property. Live pricing changes daily and should be verified at the source.

What is the minimum age?

Adults only. You must have reached the age of majority in your own jurisdiction, and 21 where the local standard requires it, to use this site.

Do you revisit properties?

Properties are reassessed when they renovate, change operator, or when reader reports suggest the published score no longer holds.

Can I suggest a correction?

Send the property name and the specific error to [email protected]. We verify every report and update the page when it stands up.

Do you cover properties outside this region?

Our scope here is Spain and Portugal. Listings appear only after a complete six-criterion assessment, which is why the catalogue grows slowly.

Is a lower score a bad hotel?

Read the score as a relative position, not a pass mark. The lower-scored properties frequently serve a specific traveller better.
